Direct-Marketing-Specialist - San Francisco, CA - SOMA
The Direct Marketing Specialist position will work with the VP of Marketing to develop and execute all aspects the Product Marketing Plan, which includes event and game marketing, customer acquisition, market research and analysis, budgeting, and category & competitive analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the VP of Marketing to ensure customer acquisition channels are efficient, consistent volume of new players and highly optimized acquisition/registration funnel.
- Manage and coordinate the implementation of campaign creatives and product marketing materials for the new game launches and existing games including compiling feedback from meetings and key stakeholders, managing schedules and deadlines and maintaining consistent cross functional communication.
- Generate and or obtain key assets including website game content, screen shots, game footage, visual renders, and videos.
- Manage market research efforts and customer surveys.
- Monitor current industry marketing practices and gaming industry trends.
- Manage the tracking and analysis of data as it pertains to marketing efforts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships and communicate with colleagues both internally and externally.
- Assist in the presentation of the game and marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
- BA degree, ideally liberal arts, communications, marketing or business.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of solid marketing experience, video game marketing a plus.
- Understanding of marketing, customer acquisition, promotions, research and budgeting.
- Experience developing and presenting promotional materials
- Effective time management and work prioritization skills and demonstrated ability to develop and manage projects to completion

Software Engineer - San Francisco, CA - SOMA
At Outspark, you will be an integral part of building the next-generation social gaming platform. We are implementing an innovative business model that showcases fun and involving gameplay merged with Web 2.0 features such as community messaging, cross-game avatars, Web services integration, social networking and more. Your primary role will be to expand our front-end and back-end web technologies, which include payment systems, caching tiers, database/application partitioning, and asynchronous DHTML/Javascript. You will also be involved in designing, developing, and optimizing core application services.

- Work closely with game developer partners
- Extend and create innovative front-end and back-end solutions

Qualifications -- Must Have:
- Proven experience in developing complex, high-traffic web applications
- 5+ years web application or software development with LAMP stack
- Advanced knowledge of SQL

- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field

Game Web Producer - San Francisco, CA - SOMA
Outspark is a fun, dynamic, casual game publisher, based in the SOMA area of San Francisco. We are looking for a talented Game Web Producer to help our gamers enjoy their online experience.
The Web Producer's primary responsibility is to visualize game web site UI, process flows and use cases, then create requirements and UI wire-frames for execution.
Other responsibilities include:
- Planning, producing and executing game web site projects.
- Develop UI flows and mock-ups for web and windows client applications in preparation for graphic design.
- Manage graphic designers and web developers to quality and schedule deliverables.
- Plan and run daily operation of game web site.
Requirements:
- Proven talent for website UI design and project planning.
- Experience developing user interface flows, wire frames, and UI mock-ups for websites.
- Understanding of web content, presentation and the requirements for daily change, management and operation.
- Experience working closely with graphic designers and web programmers.
