Susan draws upon her more than 12 years of international business management in the video game, internet and financial services industries to lead Outspark's efforts to reshape online gaming in the U.S. Prior to founding Outspark, Susan most recently served as COO at NHN USA, where she led the US game market entry for Asia's flagship game portal, NHN/Hangame. Susan also served in many capacities at Yahoo! As director of international operations she supported Yahoo's 25 international operations, as international director of Yahoo! Games, where she defined and implemented premium games growth strategy, and as director of Corporate Development, where she led investments and acquisitions efforts across games, communities and music. Susan's other experiences include seven years in financial services working as global Corporate Development lead for CSFBDIRECT's online broking partnerships in U.K., Japan and Hong Kong, Merrill Lynch's research group, and American Express' first online business management team. Susan holds a master's degree in international finance and business from Columbia University, and a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from UC Irvine.

As Outspark's Chief Studio Officer, Nick applies his world-class expertise and leadership in entertainment technology, animation and production to spearhead the company's convergent production efforts with Hollywood studios and large media companies. Nick has spent the past ten years in the motion picture and animated film industries. Most recently he served as CTO at Starz Media where he led the technology efforts for The Simpsons Movie. He also served as head of global FX for DreamWorks Animation where he led technical and creative development teams for Shrek, Shrek 2, Madagascar and Over the Hedge. In 1999 the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awarded him with a Technical Achievement Award for contributions to the special effects industry. Nick holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania. His first job out of college was building neutron detectors at a nuclear reactor in France.

Jean brings a wealth of experience to Outspark that includes multiple years spent developing and managing web portals and online communities for video game and media companies. Before joining Outspark she worked for Nexon, overseeing the company's game portal and handling strategy for the delivery of Viacom's Neopets virtual world to Asian markets including Korea, China, and Japan. Prior to Nexon, Jean worked for Blizzard Entertainment Korea, where she managed the planning, creation, localization, and operational efforts for multiple web sites including World of Warcraft, blizzard.co.kr, and battlenet.co.kr. Jean's IT career began at Lycos Korea, where she oversaw search engine localization and later multimedia content including music and movies.

With more than 10 years of experience working for Bay Area technology firms in a variety of sectors, Dale oversees all aspects of Outspark's engineering, development and technical relationships with development partners. He most recently worked as the Director of Technology Services for Red Envelope, where he led development of the technology behind that company's business-to-consumer web site, customer service and fulfillment centers, raising corporate technology sustainability and performance to new levels. His background also includes time in the financial services and online media industries at both Charles Schwab and RealNetworks. At Charles Schwab, Dale worked in both the Retail and Electronic Brokerage Technology divisions, developing and deploying both desktop and web based customer service and trading applications for enhancing customer experiences. At RealNetworks, Dale scaled the online music service Rhapsody to meet its current demands of providing subscription based music and free radio service to RealNetworks users, as well as Comcast and TiVo subscribers.

David Shen is the president of David Shen Ventures. He advises and invests in early stage Internet startups, helping them in the areas of user experience, product development and strategy, and online advertising. Previously Mr. Shen worked at Yahoo! In a number of different capacities including eight years as the company's vice president of User Experience and Design. He also spent time at industrial and product design consultancy frog design and worked for Apple Inc.
